Formal Wedding Pictures

The Thursday before we were married Jeff and I took formal wedding pictures. Jeff still had yet to see me in my dress...or to even see the dress. I was excited! I finally got to wear the beautiful white gown. It seemed as if I was living someone else's dream. This couldn't possibly be real. My sister, Nichole, and niece, Kate, came over to the house to help me get into my dress while my mom made it home from work. Nichole and Kate then took Jeff and met the photographer at the temple. My mom and I finished getting my veil on and fixed my make-up then headed to the temple as well. The photographer had strategically placed Jeff facing east as I was instructed to walk up behind him from the west. I could sense his smile grew bigger with each click on my approaching heels. I walked right up to him and placed my hand on his shoulder while the photographer snapped a few photos. Jeff anxiously, yet patiently endured the photos until he was finally instructed to turn around. As my eyes met those of my eternal companion the dream I felt I had been living became a reality. My eternal companion was before me - gazing tenderly into my eyes as he pulled me in for a loving embrace. I could not withhold the tears. Finally! All the tears and heartaches I'd endured over the years, all the shattered hopes and dreams...washed away with each tear of joy. I had found my love and my life's companion. The photographer didn't have to remind us to smile as we posed for our pictures. This was my time! Here are a few shots from those moments.
