Priesthood dedication...

Today Dallin showed some serious dedication while he was exercising his priesthood responsibilities. Because it was the first Sunday of the month, Dallin (as do most other 12 year old boys) was tasked with the responsibility to visit certain members of our church congregation to collect fast offerings. On the first Sunday of every month, we hold a fast wherein we do not eat for two meals. The money we saved from those two meals we then donate to the church to help other members of our congregation who may be less fortunate. Well, as luck would have it, just as I was taking Dallin out to collect the fast offerings, it started to rain...and not just rain but hail! I had to snap a couple pictures of when Dallin ran back to the car just as the storm opened up. He was drenched!! Still he had a smile on his face. I am proud of him! He didn't complain once. He is learning to serve, which is what having the priesthood is all about.
