Chili cook off

I know I have mentioned this before, but this is my favorite time of the year! I love seeing the mountains take on hues of oranges, reds, and yellows. I love feeling the crisp air in the morning and evening. I love the seasonal tastes, smells and sounds. I adore the holidays and all the events and activities! Each year, our neighborhood holds a chili cook off. We've been out of town the past couple years so it was fun to be able to make it this year. It's just a simple evening of good food and good friends. The boys had fun hanging out with their buddies and participating in the games. Danny got SOAKED after bobbing for apples. Jonas simply loved running around the room and getting attention from anyone who would give it. I have determined that his Native American name is Fearless Wanderer. That kid will go anywhere and associate with anyone! I submitted my white chicken chili into the cook off and won second place! Not too shabby! It was a fun night for everyone.
