Sunday (July 30) they delivered their homecoming addresses at church. I have to admit I shed a tear or two as I heard them bear witness of their love for the Savior. They have been changed. They have transformed. They are men with a purpose. They have found the path they want to follow and are firmly planted. After their homecoming addresses, we went to their grandparents' house for a light luncheon. It was a beautiful afternoon with family.

Welcome Home Elders Southwick!
On Friday (July 28), Mitchell and Evan returned home from their missions! They both came home the same day and almost the exact same time. We went to the airport to welcome them home...and we weren't the only family to do so. The airport was packed! There were so many people waiting to welcome missionaries home. In fact, it was so full that the people getting off the planes were taking pictures of us! Finally, Mitchell and Evan came down the escalator...with Danny! Silly little boy snuck up the elevator and waited for them to come out of the terminal before descending to baggage claim. He was excited to welcome home his cousins! After hugs, we all met up at Cafe Zupas for dinner. It was fun to chat with the boys and hear their mission stories. We are incredibly proud of them for the service they rendered and the men they have become.
