Maci and Carson's Day

Today we had the opportunity to go to Idaho Falls to participate in Maci's baptism and Carson's Eagle Court of Honor. It was a fun, busy day honoring two very amazing kids! We started our day with Maci's baptism. I loved watching as she carefully prepared for her special day. She knew the importance of taking this step. She knew she was making a commitment to follow the Lord and to officially start her journey back to His presence.

That evening, we celebrated Carson! He earned his Eagle Scout award. Coming from a mom who has worked with two boys on getting their Eagle (one completed his requirements and the other is getting close), it is a long arduous process. It isn't always fun and requires a lot of hard work, dedication and commitment. We are so proud of both Carson and Maci for the steps they are taking to make their lives better.
