Happy 1st Birthday Beau!

Happy birthday to the most joyful kid ever! I can't believe it's been a year. Ever since Beau was born, he has exuded joy and happiness. He has the cutest smile and spreads it wherever he goes. He loves so big and is the most adorable little tank we know. We can't imagine life without him. Amber planned the cutest little rubber ducky themed party. We met at the all-abilities park in Spanish Fork. The kids played in the splash pad and with bubbles for awhile before Beau opened his gifts. The highlight of the evening was the cake smash. Beau didn't hold back! He loved the little "bubbles" and dove into the cake face first. We love little Beau so much! As grandparents, we can't believe how much our heart can grow with each new addition. Happy birthday Beau!

Happy 3rd Birthday Everly!

Happy birthday to the granddaughter we have loved the longest! Everly has captured our hearts with her spunky personality. She is the most fun-loving, adventurous, strong-willed, loving 3 year old we know. She makes all of our lives a little brighter with her infectious smile. Saturday, July 26th, we joined her for a birthday celebration. We have had such a busy summer that it was hard to find a weekend we could do so. Thankfully, Jonas celebrated his birthday with his cousins the week before (see other post) so this Saturday was free, even if it was a week before her actual birthday. Laurin and Casey rented a foam machine and had a little splash pad for all the kiddos (and Jonas). It was a hit! They loved it! They would run into the bubbles until we couldn't see them any more then they'd run out in head-to-toe bubbles. Everly shared homemade strawberry ice cream for her birthday treat and opened all her presents. 

Sunday, August 3rd, was her actual birthday. While she spent most of the day just celebrating with her little family, she decided that she wanted to share her "brown" cake with the rest of us so they came over that evening. We sang happy birthday to her and enjoyed celebrating this beautiful little girl that we are lucky enough to have in our family. Happy birthday Evers!
