Once we finally made it to LA, we grabbed our shuttle and headed to our hotel in Anaheim. We had already decided that we wouldn't try to go to either park that afternoon/evening; instead, we decided to go to Downtown Disney to browse some shops, eat, and take in a movie. Danny LOVED the Lego store. I have to admit I was pretty impressed with some of the large figures they had created out of Legos. I'm amazed by people's imagination, determination, and patience! We also explored a HUGE store dedicated to all things Disney (of course). It seemed like every store we went into, Danny quickly found something he "needed" and "had to have". Dallin, on the other hand, would talk himself out of most things he thought he might like to buy. I guess we know who's more Jeff's kid and who's more mine! After we'd eaten and tired of looking at the shops, we decided to see a movie before going back to the hotel to rest up before the next two days of fun!

Disney bound!!
Today the boys and I headed to California to spend a couple days at Disneyland and California Adventure! Since it was just us three (Jeff definitely didn't want to go...he's not a huge fan of Disneyland), we decided to fly to LA. I wasn't sure what the boys were more excited about - going to Disneyland or flying. They have both flown before, but they were little and don't remember much. Well, I'm not sure they got the best, all-around flying experience. Our plane was delayed by 3 hours due to mechanical problems! It would have been ok had we been at the Salt Lake airport because there would have been shops to browse or places to grab a snack; however, we flew out of the Provo airport, which has basically nothing. Still, the boys were troopers and didn't complain too much. I still think they were just excited to be going on the trip.
