This past weekend, we got to celebrate an incredible lady - Grandma Donna Thompson. She turned 90 on Monday, January 24th! She readily admitted that she never thought she would make it to 90...and, to be honest, I'm not really sure she wanted to celebrate that milestone, but we are sure glad she's sticking around. Jonas LOVES Gma T! He loves the fact that he knows one of his great-grandparents. When we go over to visit Gma Penny and Grumpy, Jonas will often sneak downstairs to just hang out with Gma T. They will play games, color, and do puzzles together. He regales her with his stories and she loves it. She is such a spunky, positive, caring, faithful woman. I know age has played its toll on her physical body, but her mind is just as sharp as ever. For her birthday, we got take-out from Magelby's and had lunch with her. We feel very lucky to celebrate these milestones with her...and hope there will be many more. Happy birthday Gma T!
