Today we delivered our neighbor gifts. This year, we bought these funny little flat flashlights as we wished for His light to fill every home this season. The boys have fun leaning out the windows to drop the gifts in the mailboxes or racing down the street. Yes, there are sometimes frustrated words as we not-so-nicely encourage expediency so we can deliver the gifts to the 144 homes in a decent amount of time, but there are also spontaneous snowball fights and effortless laughter as one or the other boy dangles from the car to try to reach the mailbox. In the end, we do enjoy the act of giving. (Danny says he mostly enjoys the neighbor gifts we receive in return. Haha!)
