12 Days of Service: Day 9

Tonight we headed to the Dollar Store with a wad of one dollar bills. The boys split up the bills then found various items to tape the dollar to. It made my heart feel good that the boys took so much time to decide where to secretly tape the dollars. They took this seriously. This was not just a "check list" item for them to do today. They contemplated who would enjoy this special gift and taped the dollars accordingly. They taped some on toys and others on useful items a parent might purchase. I truly love our 12 Days tradition. It makes me proud to see the care and concern my boys express for others they will never know.
