Last night, while we were at Walmart, the boys helped me pick out and purchase a variety of socks and underwear for a sock drive at Jonas's gymnastics. I was really excited for this opportunity to participate in a drive. There is so much need in our community, but I don't often know where or how to donate. This made it easy. With all the craziness of this year, we have been incredibly blessed! As I have reflected on those things for which I am grateful, I feel even more compelled to give...and I love that I get to include the boys in that giving. They may not always be the ones that are donating the funds to do these activities or even the ones helping with any prep work, but they participate, and hopefully, they will remember how they felt and have a continued desire to give in their own ways in the future.
