12 Acts of Kindness: Acts 11 and 12

Today we finished our 12 Acts of Kindness. This afternoon, Danny, Jonas and I headed to Provo to candy cane "bomb" the hospital parking lot. I always feel a little bad when our 120 candy canes run out and there are still so many cars! We try to work swiftly so we can be anonymous in our act, but it was nice when a young woman in scrubs walked by and thanked Jonas and I for this kind gesture. Jonas was pleased with the praise and excited to offer the kindness...especially this year when so many medical personnel and patients have been affected by this pandemic.

Later that evening, we did our favorite act of kindness - the drive thru! I'm pretty sure this is the one every one looks forward to all season: partly because we get an evening of junk food and mostly because we love looking at the cars behind us as we drive away and speculate about who they are and how they will receive our act of kindness. We made it through 7 drive thrus before our money finally ran out. It was the perfect culmination of our month of kindness.
