Today's act has been on the calendar for a couple of months now. Today we had the opportunity to help clean our church building. Because we share the building with another ward congregation, we don't often get this opportunity and, while cleaning isn't my favorite Saturday morning activity, we were happy to do so. It is a privilege to attend church and worship how we desire; therefore, it is an honor to clean the building that can inspire our spiritual progression and facilitate sacred ordinances. Danny had other obligations, but Jeff, Jonas, and I (along with the help of others) spent about an hour vacuuming, washing windows, cleaning bathrooms, empty trashes, etc. Jonas was a stud! He really jumped in and worked hard. He even helped shovel snow off the walkways. It really was a great way to start our Saturday.
