12 Days of Service: Day 11

Today we encouraged the kids to give of themselves again. Today's service was to donate money to the Church's humanitarian fund or fast offerings. Again, we encouraged the kids to consider how much they have and to seek the Lord's guidance and approval on what to give. I have enjoyed watching the kids make these service opportunities a matter of prayer. I have four amazing kids! I think sometimes, as a parent, we focus on what we still feel they need to learn and forget to see what they already have learned. These kids see and observe and know way more than I think I realize at times. They have genuinely good natures. They want to do what's right. I am one lucky mommy!
