Today Dallin had his 6th grade graduation. I can't believe how fast this year has flown by. If anyone would have told me a year ago that by this time I would have a husband and four children, I would have laughed. Yet, here I am...extremely happy with the family I've prayed to have for so long. In any case, the 6th grade classes put on a little skit prior to receiving their promotion certificates. The program showcased some of the skills the kids have learned over the past year (e.g., the dances). The whole premise was that this evil villain, Dr. Procrastination, stole the list of the 6th grade graduates. Dallin played the part of Lackluster Larry...one of Dr. Procrastination's evil goons. The skit was based on Mission Impossible so "Ethan's" team went after Dr. Procrastination and ultimately triumphed in securing the list of graduates. After the skit, the 6th graders
sang Hold on to the Memories by Corey Tynan. My eyes filled with tears as I listened to the lyrics. There are so many memories that I have missed out on, but there are so many memories we've had and have yet to create. I wish I could have joined this family much sooner, but I know the Lord has His own set of plans. I am just grateful to be here now. My heart filled with pride as I watched the son I am privileged to raise walk up to get his promotion certificate. He is such an amazing young man. He is full of energy and enthusiasm for life. He has a generous heart and an obedient nature. I am excited to see what the next few years bring for him! Congratulations Dallin! We love you!!
