Last Day!!!!

Today is the day the kids have been looking forward to since August - last day of school! Again, it was another party day for all of them. The girls said they just sat around signing yearbooks and the boys had an awards assembly and class parties. Jeff and I attended the awards program. Dallin received an award for the best in math. He also received three medals for a track meet he participated in. He got silver in both the 100 and 200 meter dash. He received gold in the 400 meter relay. Daniel received a classroom award for being the student with perfect homework completion! Way to go Dallin and Daniel!!

After school, all my boys (Jeff included) came home to play. I made up little goodie bags for all the kids to celebrate the start of summer. I got all "orange" items (e.g., Gatorade, Cheetos, Reeses, etc.) and made a little gift tag that stated: Orange you glad it's summer! The kids seemed to enjoy their little treats.

Dallin had several friends come over for a water fight and allowed Danny to join in. I know how much those two can fight sometimes, but it's so fun to see when they get along...which is luckily more often than not. Meanwhile, Jeff was playing with the new barn. He's been building an addition to the shop where the cow can seek shade or shelter from storms as needed. I'm not quite sure which of my boys had the most fun.
