Today Danny's class performed a short play based on the October 30, 1938 radio drama War of the Worlds adapted from H.G. Wells's novel by the same title. It is said that when this radio drama aired there was mass panic because many individuals tuned in late and supposed it was a true news report about an invasion from Mars rather than a radio drama. Danny's class did a great job re-enacting that story and the subsequent panic. Danny was one of the "reporters" in the drama. He did a great job! He had all his lines memorized and was one of the kids that actually enunciated well. He was really excited for this performance and made sure that both Jeff and I took the time to attend. I love that he still gets excited about learning and that he still wants Jeff and I around. I'll have to cherish these few years before he becomes a teenager and forgets that he actually likes his parents. Here are a few pics from his performance:
