Today Amber went to her last high school dance! I can't believe it! It seems like yesterday that I married Jeff while she was still a sophomore and now we're planning her graduation! On top of that, she'll be moving out in June to start BYU during the summer session. It's crazy how quickly time flies! To be honest, I have envied Amber's high school days. I wish I could go back and pick a few different friends and have participated in more high school activities, but I can't. However, I don't think she'll ever have those regrets. She has had great friends and has always been involved in all the fun activities she could be involved in. I think this dance will be one of her favorites. Together with the other couples in her group, she went to Deseret Industries to pick out the outfits they would all wear that evening. Each couple picked the outfits for another couple (I have to admit some of the guys were really good sports about their chosen attire!) then they got pizza from Little Ceasars but went to another random fast food chain to eat the meal. After the dance, they played games in a tent at the school while indulging on cake they had made with funny pictures of themselves on it. Crazy, creative kids...and great high school memories!
