Mitch's mission call

Tonight Mitch, Jeff's oldest nephew, received his "call" to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's referred to as a "call" but it is actually a letter he receives telling him where he will be serving, what language he'll be speaking, and when he will report. We got a phone call from Trudy at about 8:00 p.m. and raced over to be there when he opened it. He is going to the Independence Missouri mission (which encompasses some of Nebraska and Kansas) and will be speaking Spanish! He leaves August 5th! We are so proud of him! Again, I am so grateful that Dallin and Daniel have great older siblings and cousins who set positive examples for them to follow. Mitch's younger brother, Evan, and Laurin also submitted their mission papers! In another few weeks, we'll have two more mission calls to open and missions to anticipate.

Anxiously awaiting everyone to arrive so he can open his call.
