Congratulations Laurin and Casey!

Today Laurin and Casey were married for time and all eternity in the Payson, Utah LDS temple. Laurin and Casey started this journey over a year ago. They met at the LDS Institute of Religion at Weber. They started dating casually but become more serious last spring. As parents, it has been fun to watch their relationship unfold. Casey is a perfect match for Laurin. Anyone who knows our family would agree that we are loud, crazy, opinionated, stubborn, and so much more! Casey balances all that out. It is rewarding to see a young man treat our daughter with such patience, forgiveness, understanding, and love. They are tackling school, remodeling a house (to be able to rent out the basement), and planning a wedding. It has been pretty stressful, but with the help of family and incredible friends, their wedding day was beautiful! They wanted to keep things pretty simple. We woke up to a snowy day, but luckily it cleared up for them to get some pictures before the ceremony. After the ceremony, we grabbed a few group pictures at the temple before going to the church for a simple soup, salad, rolls, and YUMMY cupcakes dinner with close friends and family. That was it! By 7:30 p.m., we had everything cleaned up and were in our pajamas at home (ok...maybe not in our pj's but definitely relaxing). They both seemed pleased with how it turned out...and more importantly, they both seemed happy to finally be sealed together for eternity! Congratulations and welcome to the family Casey!
