Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th! I can't believe the first month of summer has flown by...and this month appears ready to do the same. While we may not be going anywhere, we get to welcome family into town and enjoy all the festivities that accompany them. The 4th of July is just one of those parties! I love that we have enough space to accommodate all our friends and family. This year, we even had all of our older children's in-laws (and dating-in-laws?...Dallin's girlfriend's family) join us in addition to my in-laws, sisters, Scott, and several cousins. We love it! The day started with a trip to Krispy Kreme and Sip'N to enjoy some free patriotic treats. We then opened up the pool, set out a volleyball, and grilled up some burgers. We enjoyed interacting with everyone as we played and ate. And of course, we enjoyed the firework finale at the end of the night. I swear it gets bigger every year. It's literally the best show around! We get to be up close and not have to fight any crowds. What could be better than that? Dallin, Casey, and Casey's dad, Kelly, were gracious enough to be our pyro-technics that evening. Jonas even got to help keep the mortars loaded. It was another epic 4th of July!
