Dallin basketball

Lest anyone think Dallin has given up basketball, he has been playing on a community league since December. This is the year that he has practiced the least, but enjoyed it just as much as in years passed. It has been fun to attend his games and see him play. He has loved hanging out with his friends just as much as he's enjoyed playing the game. What's more is how happy he seems to be without all the pressures and politics of playing for the school. This week he finished his short "season". They were assigned to a bracket based on how they did during the regular season then had a three day tournament. Ultimately, his team won! It was a bittersweet moment for me. I was happy they won but sad knowing that was it. I'm sure he'll try to find teams to play with after his mission, but for the next two years, there will be no basketball games to attend. It's finally becoming real..Dallin will be gone for the next two years. Just means I get to enjoy and treasure the next few months! Way to go Dallin!
