Lincoln's blessing

This weekend we had the privilege of hanging out with my family in anticipation of Krystle's son's, Lincoln, baby blessing. My parents, Nichole, Tyler and Kate flew in on Saturday (June 10) morning. Krystle was already here with her family attending her brother-in-law's wedding. After picking up the Arizona crew from the airport, we headed to Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point. This has quickly become a family favorite. These gardens are so beautiful and serene. Krystle and her family met up with us at the gardens as well. After we explored the gardens, we had lunch at the Harvest Restaurant (another family favorite).

Love this picture! Jonas spontaneously grabbed Camden's hand to walk with him. So cute!

The fun continued after lunch. We headed to Canyon View Park in Spanish Fork to simply hang out and play games. The little kids enjoyed the playground while the older kids (and adults) played bocce ball.

We said good-bye to Krystle and her family at dinner time. We then headed back to our house for a relaxing evening. Danny, Kate and Kaia enjoyed a cold run through the splash pad. Crazy kids! I love having my family around!

Sunday was Lincoln's blessing. After attending church, we actually met up with Scott to tour a home he built in Provo that is being shown in the Utah County Parade of Homes. It was AMAZING! I love walking through homes and seeing all the cute decorative ideas in addition to the layout. I love the home I live in, but it's always fun to dream about a multi-million dollar home.
For touring the home, we all got individual pints of BYU creamery ice cream. The kids: Kate, Kaia, Tyler, Jonas, Dallin, Amber, and Jacob.

We quickly finished touring the home then headed to Spanish Fork for the blessing. It is always nice to get together with family, but it's even better when there is a special occasion. Lincoln is such a sweet baby. He was not expected to join their family so soon, but has been an incredible blessing since his arrival. We love you little Lincoln!

The rest of the evening we were simply able to enjoy being together. It has been a quick weekend but a fun one! I need my family to move closer to me!! There is nothing greater in life than family.
