Super Bowl LII

Disclaimer: We are not a football family! We don't keep track of stats or players or teams. We catch a random game or two each season but that's it. However, we do look forward to watching the Super Bowl! It's an evening of football, family, fun and FOOD! We laugh at the commercials, criticize the refs (as if we actually know what calls they should make), and cheer on the underdog team. This year the underdog team was the Philadelphia Eagles vs. the New England Patriots (who have won 5 of the last 6 Super Bowls). It was a great game...especially because the Eagles WON!! In honor of both teams, I made Lobster rolls (Patriots) and Philly Cheesesteak (Eagles) sliders, as well as our traditional chips, guacamole, and salsa with bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. For dessert, I made chocolate chip cookies with Eagles colored chips and Rice Krispy treats with Patriot colored M&Ms. It was another fun Super Bowl! Go Eagles!
