Sunday we did another act of kindness. I think we all have a love/hate relationship with this one. We delivered over 300 measuring spoons to our friends and neighbors to wish them an added "measure" of peace and joy in Christ this holiday season. I love doing neighbor gifts...I just hate how many we do, but I love the man my husband is and his desire to include everyone! See what I mean about love/hate relationship? Jonas loves to help deliver these because he doesn't have to keep his seat belt on and he gets to hang out the window to drop things in mailboxes, but after the first 100 or so houses, he gets pretty worn out too. Still, we love to share a little something...and then receive neighbor gifts as the days get closer to Christmas. Just that night, we got some soap, Whoppers, and a funny little towel. I may not keep or eat everything, but it's fun to see our neighbors as they drop things off...and it's fun to think of clever, practical gifts to give everyone from year to year.
