Bennett's baptism

This weekend was a two-for-one for us! We were able to attend Michael's graduation and spend a day with my family then we were able to attend Bennett's baptism and spend a day with Jeff's family. I would say that was a "win-win"...especially for the boys who loved hanging out with all the cousins! Since Bennett's baptism wasn't until 1:00, the boys had fun just hanging around Stan and Kristi's house. They got new roller blades so they raced and played street hockey until the time to get ready for the baptism. We were again grateful to be there to support family. I can't imagine a better way to spend a weekend than to be with family. We are so proud of Bennett and the choice he made to be baptized. We are grateful to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives and to know the path we need to take to return to our Father in Heaven. Bennett officially started on that path today. He is such a good, observant, thoughtful kid. We are excited to see where his journey will take him.

We spent the rest of the evening with Jeff's family. We helped Grant complete his Eagle Scout project and just hung around the house. We stayed for church on Sunday as well before finally making it back home. It was a very full, very fun Spring Break! I can't believe we're on the last stretch of school before summer hits!!
