Danny's orchestra concert

Tonight was Danny's first orchestra concert. He was so excited for us to see and hear all the hard work he has put forth this semester. He did a great job! I was pleasantly surprised at how well the youth played their instruments. The songs were enjoyable and you could tell each musician put forth a lot of effort into making the concert a success. The orchestra director had the students tell the audience why each song was taught and what skill was learned. At one point, the students even got to grab a member of their families from the audience to teach them how to properly hold a bow. Dallin was the lucky member of our family! Of course the concert ended with holiday favorites (Jolly Ol' St. Nicholas and Jingle Bells). I'm so proud of Danny and the discipline and dedication he is putting into this! After the concert, we decided to treat ourselves to some cookies and drinks from Sip 'N Spot.
